Yohe Public Safety Fund
The Missouri SAR Board of Directors on July 30, 1994, established the Yohe Public Safety Award Fund in Memory of Compatriot Richard L. Yohe. Compatriot Yohe at the time of his passing was Missouri Society Sons of the American Revolution State President and a Retired Law Enforcement Officer.
Originally, the Fund was created to establish a Permanent Restricted Account. Income from the Fund would provide Annual Funding to support the objectives of the SAR, recognizing Patriotic, Historical, and Education contributions. Income from this Yohe Public Safety Award Fund shall now also be used to sponsor Awards for Law Enforcement Commendation, Fire Safety Commendation, and Silver Good Citizenship Medal (for service to the State) in a manner consistent to the public good and welfare.
The Yohe Public Safety Award Fund is solely dependent on voluntary contributions. To encourage contributions to the Yohe Public Safety Award Fund, a Contribution Recognition Award Program has been established for different levels of contributions, as follows:
$100.00 Contribution Recognition: Pin and Certificate.
$200.00 Contribution Recognition Bronze level: Certificate
$300.00 Contribution Recognition Silver Level: Certificate
$400.00 Contribution Recognition Gold Level: Certificate
All Contributors to the Yohe Public Safety Award Fund will be listed on the Missouri SAR Website. Contributions can be mailed to the Fund Chairman, J. Michael Robertson
James Eugene Yohe
