Declaration Signing Reenactment – June 21st, Poplar Bluff

Declaration Signing Reenactment at Palace of Praise Church at 10:30am in Poplar Bluff. Period dress welcome.

Statue Dedication – June 24th, Jefferson City

The Governor and State host a dedication ceremony of a statue in honor of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence at the Cole County courthouse. 9:30am, High & Monroe Streets in Jefferson City.

Living History – June 27th, Linn Creek

Living History event at the Village of Linn Creek (206 S Locust St) including a parade, color guard demonstrations, and Q&A. Parade begins at 11:00.

A reenactment of the signing of the Declaration of Independence will take place on July 21st, at 10:30am, at Palace of Praise Church. Period dress is welcome.

Wreath Laying – July 4th, Jefferson City

Jane Randolph Jefferson Chapter, Missouri Society Daughters of the American Revolution – Penny Gottschalk, Chapter Regent

In conjunction with the Christopher Casey Chapter of the Missouri Society Sons of the American
Revolution – John Sickmeier, President, will present a wreath in the memory of our third president Thomas Jefferson on the north (riverside) of the Missouri State Capitol
On 4th of July, 2026 to celebrate the bicentennial of his passing (4 July 1826). And the 250th birthday of our Republic.
All DARs and SARs are invited to gather near the Louisiana Purchase Monument of Livington, Monroe and Marbois at 10:00 am. Casual Dress is recommended – Period costume is always welcome.
Assembly will be at 0930 hours.
Guest speaker will be Clifford Olsen, Minuteman Award Recipient SAR.
