The Brochure Contest is open to Middle School Students, including Private, Church-Based and Home Schooled Students in 6th, 7th, 8th, or 9th grades in the year in which the American Revolution is taught in their educational system. The Contest is also open to Members of Boy and Girl Scouts and Children of the American Revolution (CAR), in the same grade range, only when their school system is not participating in the Contest. In cases where the local school system, or its equivalent, is participating, the young person needs to enter the Contest through their school, and not through a different entity. A student can enter this Contest only once during these middle school grades. Entry is One Brochure per Student – No Group Entry is Accepted.
