Let us help you on your journey to join C.A.R. and a society near you!

Each society gathers at different times and locations for society meetings, statewide C.A.R. events, and community activities. The older members are role models who help “teach” the younger members about C.A.R. and good citizenship. Working together, they learn leadership skills that can be useful throughout their lifetime. Senior (adult) members assist members in learning how to plan and host society meetings and events, while members themselves, conduct these activities in leadership roles.

Our members are age “birth” to 22!  All C.A.R. members “age out” at age 22 and by then, most have formed LIFE LONG friendships with other members of all ages across the state!


Four Steps to Membership…

STEP 1 — You DECIDE which Society best fits YOUR family’s needs. Or if you have 6 potential members, start a New Society. Find a Society.

 Generally, C.A.R. meetings are very much like our “one-room” schools of the past…the older members are role models who help “teach” the younger members about C.A.R. and good citizenship.

It’s never too soon or too late to join. Our members are aged “birth” to 22!  All C.A.R. members “age out” at age 22 and by then, most have formed LIFELONG friendships with other members of all ages across the state!

STEP 2 — SELECT, CONTACT & VISIT one or more Missouri State Societies near YOU!

 Generally, C.A.R. meetings are very much like our “one-room” schools of the past…the older members are role models who help “teach” the younger members about C.A.R. and good citizenship. Request meeting dates and locations and SCHEDULE 0ne or more Local or State Events or Meetings before deciding which society fits best for your family.

STEP4 – READ & FOLLOW DOWNLOADED INSTRUCTIONS:

Many of our Senior Leaders are avid genealogists, so please ask questions!  If you need assistance completing the application, do not hesitate to ask for help. 

APPLICATION FEES, DUES & FAMILY DISCOUNTS:

  • $35 for 1st applicant [ $15.00 application fee + $20.00 yearly membership fee];
  • $30.00 for each additional applicant with the same parents and same patriot submitted simultaneously  [ $10.00 application fee + $20.00 yearly membership fee].
