Meetings

Chapter meetings are open to the public.  The chapter meets at Hy-Vee, 3723 West Truman Boulevard, Jefferson City, Missouri. Meetings begin at 8:30pm and are held on the second Saturday of the month. No chapter meetings are held in June, July and August. The April meeting is a celebration of Patriots Day. The April meeting date may vary from the second Saturday of the month and will occur in the afternoon where awards are presented by the chapter to deserving individuals. Before a regular Saturday morning meeting,  breakfast is often eaten first at 8:00am. The cost of the breakfast is paid individually by the attending members who want to eat at HyVee.  After breakfast, a short business meeting is conducted commencing at 8:30am and a program thereafter follows.   The program centers on some aspect of the American Revolutionary War period from 1774 – 1783 or on the early period of the country’s development immediately after the Revolutionary War. A chapter meeting normally lasts one hour and 15 minutes. Responsibility for programs is rotated among chapter members.  Fellowship among members and guests normally occurs between 8:00am – 8:30am and immediately after the meeting.
