Who is eligible for membership in SAR?

Any male over 18 years of age who can trace his ancestry back to either a soldier or sailor of the American Revolutionary War or any individual who was an active supporter of the Revolutionary War effort.

Note, if you had ancestors in the 13 American Colonies during the Revolutionary War, there is a good chance that you may qualify! Check the NSSAR.org website to learn about the “4 Easy Steps”.
